The White Hart Review is shaped by a small group of writers who value thoughtful, reflective writing about Tottenham Hotspur, its supporters and the culture that surrounds it. Alongside these regular contributors, The White Hart Review also welcomes occasional submissions from the wider Spurs community.
Andrew Pettifer
Andrew is a retired engineer and a lifetime Spurs fan, having first had a season ticket in 1975. Now a dual Australian-British citizen, he is the author of "When the Final Whistle Blows: Glory, Grief and Tottenham Hotspur" and founder/editor of The White Hart Review. He is also the author of travel memoir "Travels with Tracy: Tales from a Midlife Gap Year"

Gareth Dace
Gareth has written two books about Spurs covering the 1980s (Hot Shot Tottenham) and 1990s (Is Gascoigne Going To Have a Crack?) respectively. A lifelong Spurs fan and season-ticket holder since 2003 Gareth can also be heard on The Game is About Glory podcast and his own nostalgia based Spurs podcast (also called) Is Gascoigne Going To Have a Crack?

Harvey Burgess
Harvey Burgess is a British writer. He is the author of "More Trauma than Triumph: The Life of a Spurs Fan" and three other books: "Political Asylum from the Inside" (non-fiction) Worldview Publications, Oxford, UK, 2000; "Tucson Tales - Bohemians, Bolsheviks and Border Rats." (Fiction) Sunstone Press, New Mexico, USA, 2013; and "Reggae Night - Neon Prophet at The Chicago Bar" (non-fiction) Dark Spring Press, Tucson, Arizona, USA 2022.

John Ellis
John is a management consultant, lifelong Spurs fan and prolific attendee of matches, both home and away. In 2024/5 he attended all 60 matches. His match reports on Facebook are read by thousands of followers. John is the author of El Gringos Once in a Lifetime - capturing his hilarious exploits at the Brazil 2014 World Cup. He lives in Notts and has three children.

Tracy Mellor
Tracy is a long suffering Spurs fan by marriage. A Big Ange fan, she still hasn't forgiven the club for letting him go. Tracy is a highly experienced businesswoman and, in her spare time, emotional supporter of The White Hart Review's founder/editor. She lives in Sydney except when visiting her three grandsons in Regional NSW.

Russell Chopp
Russell was a ball boy in the Sugar years. Now a season ticket holder, he still turns up and still believes. "Even when it’s painful, especially when it’s painful." Now he goes with his son. "I’ve basically passed the affliction down a generation. Guilt sits there, but so does pride. When you bleed white and blue, there isn’t really a choice.
